Customer Review: Doesn't toast!
We had the exact same problem as another reviewer: the toaster doesn't toast the bread. Even on its highest setting, it just barely toasts it. We always have to run it through more than one cycle, which is annoying and time consuming. I thought maybe we just had a lemon, too, until I saw the other post. We will be returning and ordering a different brand now.
Customer Review: Why is it so difficult to make a good toaster?
WE chose this toaster over the Dualit based on it's Japanese sounding name. My husband was sure it would toast great and not be made in China. No where did it say on the website where it was made but we assumed not China. Well, it IS made in China. It toasts okay but seems to dry the bread out more than anything. Our bread tends to the smaller side (artisan)so maybe that has something to do with it but for pete's sake-all these engineers out there-Can't someone make a toaster that toasts, evenly, brown if you want it brown and not take 5 minutes to do it?
